Dr. Narendra Kotwal is a seasoned endocrinologist with over 26 years of experience in the field. Dr. Kotwal has extensive expertise in managing a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid issues, metabolic bone diseases, pituitary disorders, and complex adrenal and gonadal disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a DM/DNB examiner and is the National Coordinator of the NBE Endo Webinar. Currently, he is the President-Elect of the Endocrine Society of India. Dr. Kotwal is committed to improving patients' quality of life through expert, compassionate, and personalized treatment plans. He emphasizes patient education and fosters partnerships that empower patients to actively participate in their health and well-being.

Abdulrahman completed his medical degree at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 2003 and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physician of the United Kingdom in 2011. He subsequently completed an Internal Medicine Residency at McGill University in 2015 and a Critical Care Medicine Residency at University of Toronto in 2017. He is currently a Clinical Fellow in Extracorporeal Life Support and Critical Care Ultrasound at the Interdepartmental Division of Critical Care Medicine, University of Toronto, and holds a Senior Specialist position at Al-Amiri Hospital, Ministry of Health, Kuwait.

Dr. Ali Alali is currently an assistant professor in the department of medicine at Kuwait University and a consultant gastroenterologist Thunayan Alghanim center in Amiri hospital.

Dr. Alali finished his medical training at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). He then undertook his internal medicine and gastroenterology residency training at the University of Toronto. He did 2 advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowships (EUS and ERCP) at McGill University in 2016 and St.Michael’s hospital in Toronto in 2017. In addition, he holds a masters degree in clinical epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

Dr. Alali has participated and presented in many international conferences including DDW and CDDW. He has a number of publications including abstracts, manuscripts and review articles in the field of gastroenterology. Furthermore, he was awarded the Marsha Dreyer award for excellence in research by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). His main research interest is related to endoscopy, pancreatic pathology and H.pylori treatment.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Ozairi is the Chair of the Psychiatry Residency Program. He is the Head of the Psychiatry Unit in Al Amiri Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in Kuwait.

He is double Board Certified in both Canada and the USA in “General Psychiatry” and “Neuropsychiatry and Behavioural Neurology”.

He holds a masters degree in Public Heath and has long been interested in Mental Health Promotion in general, and of healthcare professionals in particular.

Dr. Almutawa is a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Adult Critical Care Medicine at Al-Amiri Hospital. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Kuwait University in 2007 and residency in Internal Medicine through the Kuwaiti Board of Internal Medicine in 2014. Following this, he became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in London, the United Kingdom in 2015. His advanced training includes a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Critical Care Medicine in 2017 from the University of Toronto, Canada. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he serves as a Clinical Tutor and Site Coordinator for various residency training programs with the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations (KIMS), and is an active member of Internal Medicine In-Training Examination Committee. He also holds the position of Assistant Program Director for the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program (KIMS) contributing to the assessment, education, and development of future medical professionals.

Dr. Naser AlQurini, MD, MRCGP (INT). A family physician who finished his medical school at Kuwait University on 2000, and continued his residency in family medicine at the Kuwait Institute of Medical Specialtiesfrom 2003-2007. After that, he had more training at a level of clinical fellow in the following subspecialties in Canadian universities: geriatric medicine at McMaster University, and palliative care and general practice in oncology at University of Ottawa.

He finds great interest in managing and treating older adults with cancer. He finished his last fellowship by working in the Older Adult with Cancer Clinic (OACC) at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Canada’s largest cancer centre, and affiliated with the University of Toronto.
